City of Bath

This past Thursday Jonny and I had a great day trip to South/West England to visit the City of Bath. There we took a tour of the historic Roman Baths and had an afternoon of beautiful countryside and shopping. They had a GAP <3 <3
It was a fun place to visit with a lot to do, so we will be going back another time for sure!

Today I had a dr. appt so they can once again diagnose my asthma, so today they have decided that I am moderate. Thankfully my asthma is well controlled so the Doctors aren't worried, however my inhaler is a steroid so it is important for them to track development of the baby more frequently. And because of that it looks like we will be having ultrasounds at just about every visit! I was surprised with one today, so that was a nice way to start the day off. The first appointment was just at 8 weeks so as most of you saw, a little difficult to read the image. But simply 3 weeks later...HUGE difference! I could see the head, body, legs, feet, arms and hands all pretty clearly! Even saw a little bit of a nose bud. Heart rate is in the 170s so good and strong, and little baby was moving up a storm! Its weird to see something like that move, know its inside of you, but not feel a thing. Looks like we've got an active baby on our hands. It looked like it was doing "The Worm" only backwards and once again its little (only much much bigger now!) arm was up and waving again. Maybe it knows we're looking =) So baby is now a bit over 2 inches long and approximately the size of a lime. www.whattoexpect.com says the baby is growing hair follicles and fingernails this week. The baby is now developed enough to be doing stretches and somersaults as well. I was secretly hoping I'd catch a forward roll on the ultrasound today, but maybe that's just the Little Gym Instructor in me. Next appointment isn't for 5 more weeks but by that time baby will be the size of an orange and well, my pants wont fit anymore =)
